Compassion is when you see yourself in other community members and treat them as you would want to be treated. Compassion is when we think about the circumstances, situation, and feelings of others.

Communication is when we keep open lines between all community members and be willing to discuss any issues that arise in a positive way. Call people by what they would like to be called; engage in the respectful exchange of ideas; have the willingness to listen to others; the ability to be open to new ideas or others' perspectives.

Respect is when all members of the community see each other as equal and worthwhile members of the community, willing to work to achieve common goals. Respect is when you are truly rooting for everyone to experience success.

Engagement is when we come to school, work, class prepared and mentally present. Participating in class in order to enhance the learning experience of everyone inside the classroom.

Growth is when you embrace discomfort to learn anew and help push yourself and other community members to their maximum potential.
