Welcome to the Bronx Design & Construction Academy website. Nestled in the heart of the South Bronx, Bronx Design is truly a hidden gem where students are empowered to discover their passions, develop their talents, and prepare for successful futures.

At Bronx Design, our mission is to provide every student with an enriching and transformative high school experience that prepares them for both college and career. Through rigorous academics, hands-on learning experiences, and industry-aligned Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, we equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. More importantly, we strive to develop responsible, compassionate, and capable young adults who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to their communities and society.

Our work is grounded in our core values of Compassion, Communication, Respect, Engagement, and Growth. These values guide our daily interactions and shape a school culture where students are challenged to excel, supported to persevere, and inspired to lead. We believe that character development is just as important as academic achievement, and we provide students with opportunities to engage in service, leadership, and authentic learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

Each school year brings new opportunities for growth and innovation. Our strong partnerships with industry leaders, colleges and universities, community organizations, and neighboring schools play a vital role in expanding opportunities for our students. As the home of five New York State-approved CTE programs in Architecture, Carpentry, Electrical Installation, HVAC, and Plumbing, we are committed to ensuring that our programs remain relevant, rigorous, and aligned to evolving industry standards and workforce demands.
