Use a debit/credit card to purchase your ticket.It will cost each candidate $28.45 to sign up for their tickets/entrance exam.The location is: 35-23 36th Street Astoria, NY 11106.*Candidates must be at least 17 years old.*They must show up with their picture ID and their printed ticket.*Their CTE program, or not being enrolled in one, does not matter.*The process of checking in and taking the exam may take about 2-3 hours.*Simply buying a ticket or applying does not guarantee acceptance.*Candidates who are accepted in this union will be a part of a 3-year training program and can potentially make $40/hour including pension and health insurance benefits.BxDesign Alumni -

NYC District of Carpenters
BuildingWorks is a pre-apprenticeship training program that prepares candidates for the NYC District Council of Carpenters Apprenticeship
- Applicants should have a strong interest in Carpentry and commit to completing the 4-year apprenticeship leading to a career as a Union Carpenter.
- Applicants must be willing and able to work on job sites anywhere in New York City and vicinity.
- Applicants must pass a drug screen.
- Training dates are June 5 - 30, 2023.
- Full-Day Sessions are held Mon. to Fri. 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. (start/end times may vary)
- Sessions will be held in person at the Carpenters Training Center in lower Manhattan. There is a strict attendance policy. No excused absences or lateness for any reason.
